Urban Woodworker offers a variety of courses in Hand Tool fundamentals, including single half day classes, 2 class, 4 class, 6 class and 8 class courses each held weekly over as many weeks as the number of classes.
In all classes students work almost exclusively with the Heirloom Quality tools of Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. Lie-Nielsen’s world leading Hand Tools are used by both professionals and serious amateur woodworkers.
Through its partnership with the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre, Urban Woodworker offers its courses in Hand Tool Woodworking at the Roundhouse facility in Vancouver. The Roundhouse is situated in Vancouver’s vibrant Yaletown, an area filled with, theatres, restaurants, park sculptures, breathtaking views and meandering seawalls overlooking the picturesque False Creek, Granville Island and beyond to English Bay.
